Ralph T. Wiles Jr. holds the critical position of chief investigator and chief intake officer at Babbitt, Johnson, Osborne & Le Clainche. He is the first point of contact for many of the firm’s clients. Mr. Wiles joined the firm after 23 years as chief investigator at the legendary law firm of Robert M. Montgomery, Jr. & Associates, P.L., after many years as chief investigator of the Palm Beach County State Attorney’s Office. He worked on many of the Montgomery law firm’s biggest cases, some of which attracted worldwide attention, including the landmark verdict against tobacco companies on behalf of the State of Florida and the tragic case of Kimberly Bergalis, who, with six others, died of AIDS as the result of a dentist’s visit. Mr. Wiles was involved in many other significant cases, including a $13 million wrongful death auto case and a $10 million case in which a pregnant woman received brain injuries and lost her baby as a result of an automobile accident. With his decades of investigative training and experience in evaluating potential lawsuits, Wiles has the knowledge clients need to understand the value of their cases as he guides them through the litigation process. He grew up in the Adirondack Mountains in upstate New York. His son is a federal agent and his daughter a registered nurse. He lives in Palm Springs, Fl., with his wife. Contact Ralph T.
